                                  * Collection of monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) data including food and non-food items used in daily life of consumers

     * Collection and supply of data for preparation of wage rate and wage index of workers engaged in various occupations.


     * Collection and supply of data for preparation of statistics on production of various crops and amount of land under cultivation and land use.


                                  * Collection and provision of data for preparation of important health and demographic indicators.


                                  * Collecting and providing information on child nutrition and child status.


                                  * Preparation and supply of information on the poverty situation of the country by conducting food income and expenditure determination surveys.
